Morning strolls around the street markets are always the most peaceful. Everyone typically comes out to these spaces in the afternoon and evening, so it’s a morning persons haven. And a perfect place for scenery shots and walks with your loved ones.

It’s been a while, and I miss sharing memorable photos from China.

Xi’an is one of my favorite China destinations for how lively and colorful the culture and city is. The drum tower in this photo is right next to the Muslim Snack Street, and when I say it’s vibrant at night, it’s really where to be if you’re looking for late night yummies and a good time!

Shushu ~ Uncle. Him and his community of friends were sitting on a bench socializing and watching their surroundings. I was on a mission to capture the faces that represented this community, there was a little hesitation and shyness, but this uncle with a straight face agreed. His friends were giggling about his confidence.

Witnessing the elders around Huimin street was always so beautiful and heartwarming. It was like they always kept an eye out, especially the men. Their alertness was nurturing and refreshing to be in the presence in.

I pray we all find the same and greater nurturing love in the spaces we choose to be present in ✨

Xiamen was stillness and peace for my body - I say this about all the places I visit, but the type of “letting go, and God” I felt was on another level. I needed that, and I gave myself exactly that.
